Oven Busters (Including Fix-My-Oven)Friendly Terms & Conditions



We believe in being fair, honest, and straightforward. These Terms & Conditions are here to protect both you and us.


1. Our Services

Oven Busters and Fix-My-Oven provide domestic appliance cleaning and repair services.

We only work on domestic appliances and do not service commercial appliances or appliances used in commercial premises.

2. Quotes & Prices

  • Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of booking.

  • If the job changes or additional work is required, the price may change.

  • We are not VAT registered, so VAT is not charged.

3. Access & Parking

To help us complete the work efficiently, customers must provide:

  • safe and reasonable access to the property;

  • electricity and adequate lighting;

  • suitable parking where possible.

Any parking charges or fines incurred while carrying out the work are the customer’s responsibility.

4. Payment

Payment is due immediately after the work is completed unless agreed otherwise in writing.

We accept:

  • Cash

  • Cheque

  • BACS transfer (by prior arrangement)

Late payments may incur additional charges and debt recovery costs.

5. Cancellations

  • Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged at £50 or 50% of the booking value.

  • Special-order parts must be paid for in full once ordered.

If no one is available at the property, our operative will wait up to 20 minutes before leaving.

6. Complaints & Guarantees

We take pride in our work and always aim for complete customer satisfaction.

If you are unhappy with any part of our service:

  • please contact us within 24 hours of the work being completed;

  • we will investigate the issue and, where appropriate, return to re-clean or re-repair the affected area.

Please allow us the opportunity to put things right before arranging third-party work.

7. Repairs Guarantee

All repairs include a 90-day parts and labour guarantee.

8. Damage & Liability

We take great care while working in your home, but accidents can occasionally happen.

  • Any damage caused by us will be assessed fairly.

  • We will attempt repair or offer compensation based on the item’s current value where appropriate.

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, damage, wear and tear, or faulty appliance installations.

For insurance purposes, claims under £100 are not covered.

9. Safety

We reserve the right to refuse work if:

  • conditions are unsafe;

  • the appliance is beyond economical repair;

  • the appliance condition could pose a health or safety risk.

10. Website Use

Information on our website is provided for general guidance only and may change from time to time.

Our website may use cookies and analytics tools to help improve user experience.

11. Changes to Terms

We may occasionally update these Terms & Conditions. Any updates will apply to future bookings.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
